A prestigious Newquay choir has been entertaining campers to raise funds for charity.

Oll an Gwella performed at Trewan Hall in St Columb in front an appreciative crowd.

The choir handed out cheques following its fundraising to Cornwall Blood Bikes and Penhaligon's Friends.

Tony Mills from Oll an Gwella said: “It was another superb start to Oll an Gwella's season entertaining the campers. “We are so grateful for the opportunity to strut our stuff whilst entertaining and raising funds for our charities.

“All 13 members of Oll an Gwella were in attendance, which included Spud, Tony, Justin, Brian, Glenn, Derek, Les, David, Billy, Dick, Rob, Richard and Jim. “Thanks to Trewan Hall and patrons for their warmth and generosity.”
