ST Columb Boxing Club held their first boxing show on Saturday, November 8 at the Newquay Bay Holiday Resort in front of a sell out crowd.
The show, which enjoyed an electric atmosphere, didn't disappoint for the club who had nine of their boxers on a 16 bout night of amateur boxing.
The club kicked the night off with both Freddie Scott and Olly Billingham showing their class in the skills bout section of the evening.

Then came Seth Jewell who was boxing in his third bout for the club. Boxing against a tough opponent was Arhie Scott, who managed to weather the storm to change his tactics to take the win.
Then Riley Murphy stepped up to beat his opponent after a back and forth battle which saw him get the Bout of the Night Trophy.
Taking to the ring for the first time came new boys Otis Donlan and Harry Murden. Having their first bouts for the club, both boxers put in their all with Harry taking a debut win.

The senior section of the evening saw both Max Doust having his first bout and Max Browning out scoring both of of there opponents to make it seven wins from nine home boxers. And to top it all off, all four of the coaches had their sons boxing on the same show for the club.
A spokesperson for St Columb Boxing Club said: “The club couldn't have achieved such a great night without the sponsors being so generous, the travelling clubs that came from near and far, the officials who ran the boxing side of things, the spectators who turned up and of course the Newquay Bay Holiday Resort for letting us have the venue.”
