A Cornish Labour MP has chosen the winners of his competition to design a Parliamentary Christmas card for 2025 after receiving hundreds of entries from local primary schools across Camborne, Redruth and Hayle.
The winners were chosen by MP for for Camborne, Redruth and Hayle, Perran Moon, himself, along with a panel including the mayors as well as local town and parish chairs from across the constituency.
The winners were selected from a strong field of entrants from across primary schools in the constituency.
The winning card designs will be printed and used as the official Parliamentary Christmas cards of the Office of Perran Moon MP, meaning that anyone, whether it be a constituent of Camborne, Redruth and Hayle or other MPs including the Prime Minister in Westminster will receive the cards with the winning designs on it this year.
The winning designs were created by Delilah from St Meriadoc Infant Academy and Pav from St Day and Carharrack Community Primary School.
Perran Moon, MP for Camborne, Redruth and Hayle said: “It was an absolute pleasure to judge this competition given the very high artistic quality from all ages.
“We should be very proud that these children spent so long creating these beautiful Christmas images. It was an incredibly tough choice to have to choose two.”
