Three Good Afternoon Choirs in Cornwall have welcomed new leaders. Barry Hawken and Martin Palmer are both highly experienced musicians and choir leaders who are keen to lead singers on an exciting musical journey.

The Truro choir rehearses on Mondays at Truro Methodist Church; it is now conducted by Barry and accompanied by Hannah Hawken. Barry also leads the Newquay choir on Thursdays at St Michael’s Church Hall, accompanied by Ruth Best.

Ruth also accompanies Martin when the Falmouth branch meets on Fridays at Emmanuel Baptist Church.

Good Afternoon Choirs are fun and friendly, non-audition community choirs for male and female voices. All rehearsals take place from 1pm to 3pm.
