LOCAL historian, photograph collector and Voice reader Barrie Doney has no shortage of pictures and stories from Cornwall’s past, which he shares with Voice Newspaper readers every week.

This week’s photograph shows a historic image of Pentewan Harbour.

Barrie says of this photograph: “Laying up the colours of the Duke of Cornwall Light Infantry (DCLI) 5th Battalion Lucknow (India) at the headquarters in Bodmin during March 1920 by the vicar of Bodmin, Rev.L Brown.”
