VOLUNTEERS have pitched in to give a neglected part of Newquay a spruce up.

Newquay Town Council joined forces with Cormac and residents for the Love Treloggan project, which involved weeding, raking and sweeping the green, pathway and road edges at Polwhele Road on Saturday, March 30.

“I was thrilled by the turnout of volunteers who gave up their time. This is just the beginning. There is so much more to come for Treloggan.”

The next Love Treloggan session will see the Doorstep Green area improved ahead of the summer.
