IMPROVEMENT works will begin on the Riverside Walk at Truro’s Boscawen Park on Tuesday March 10. The path will be closed to the public for one week to ensure safety during the works.

The improvements are being delivered as part of a project, funded by Truro Town Deal and led by Truro City Council, to provide new indoor and outdoor sports and leisure facilities at the park, including the construction of the new Boscawen Park Pavilion.

The works will involve installing new drainage channels and laying fresh gravel along the path to improve its condition and usability. The investment aims to make significant improvements to accessibility, and to ensure the walkway remains safe and enjoyable for all users in the future.

A Truro City Council spokesperson said: “We understand this area is popular for dog walking, and we apologise for any inconvenience this may cause. We encourage dog owners to find an alternative route while the works are carried out.”
