ENVIRONMENTALIST Jonathan Porritt will appear at The Lifehouse in Tresawls Road, Truro on Tuesday, March 17 to discuss his book Love, Anger and Betrayal: Just Stop Oil’s Young Climate Campaigners.

For more than 50 years, Jonathon Porritt has campaigned for the environment and social justice, while simultaneously advising governments, businesses and NGOs. He believes it is “not too late” to avoid climate breakdown – but his 11th book argues that it will be, very soon.

There will be contributions from activists and members of Take Back Power, and an opportunity for all to contribute to the debate.

The event will last from 7.30pm to 9.30pm. Entry is free, with tea and coffee provided, but attendees must register on Eventbrite.
