REVISED plans to build a housing estate and a day nursery in St Columb Major have been submitted to Cornwall Council.

The outline planning application is for up to 29 dwellings, a day nursery for up to 80 children, public open space and internal estate roads on land north of Dinas Road in Higher Bospolvans.

Previous plans to build 26 dwellings, a day nursery, public open spaces and internal estate roads at the site were approved in March 2017.

The key points for that scheme included the development being on the edge of the established village of St Columb Major, adjacent to established residential development on Dinas Road and a new site for relocated community pre-school.
