NEWQUAY RNLI is gearing up for a year of fundraising to help save lives at sea.

Highlights include an Easter egg hunt at the harbour on Sunday, April 5.

A coffee morning Mayday event will be staged at the Kilbirnie Hotel on Saturday, May 23 between 10am and 12pm as well as on Saturday, October 31 from 10am and 12pm.

The Huer’s Hut will be lit up to mark lifeguard Appreciation Day on Friday, July 31.

A fun day will be held at Fistral beach to celebrate 25 years of RNLI lifeguards on Saturday, August 1.

Lifeboat Day will be held at the harbour on Saturday, August 8 from 10am to 4pm.

A harvest festival auction will be staged at Newquay Rowing Club on Sunday, October 11 from 5pm.
