PARKING enforcement is now in operation at Boscawen Park car park, as part of Truro City Council’s Off Street Parking Places Order 2025.

All users are required upon arrival to register through the JustPark app or display a ticket from the parking meter next to Café in the Park (card payment only).

Parking is free for the first four hours. Once departed, a vehicle cannot return within two hours.

Tariffs thereafter range from £4.20 for up to five hours, to £10.50 for up to 24 hours. Charges apply 24/7, including bank holidays. Parking enforcement will be carried out by Cornwall Council.

Town clerk David Rodda OBE said: “The first week was used to launch and test the scheme. There have been ‘niggles’, but the system is now working as we want it to.

“We’ve also had had city council staff members on site each day, talking to people and asking for feedback. It would seem the new arrangement has been received really positively.”
