The Pencarrow Artisan Christmas Fair will be held this weekend near Bodmin.

The event will raise money to help maintain the historic Pencarrow House and Gardens at Washaway, as well as helping to  support and promote local charities.

There will be more stalls than before, featuring a range of crafted goods together with locally-produced food and drink.

The produce will include street food and roasted chestnuts for that nearly-Christmas feeling.

Among the several charities represented, there will be the opportunity to meet the owls from the Screech Owl Sanctuary and to find out about the work of the Hog Hospital, a hedgehog sanctuary.

Pencarrow’s own green Father Christmas will be in attendance at the fair.

The Peacock Cafe will be open for light lunches and the Pencarrow shop will be open as well.

The fair will runs on Saturday, November 18, and Sunday, November 19, from 10am to 4 pm each day. Admission will be £3.50 with under-16s free.

There is no need to pre-book.
