AN exhibition of old and new photographs of St Mawgan village is being staged.
Then and Now is being held in the village hall at St Mawgan between Monday, October 27 and October 31.

Sally Dodd, who is helping to stage the event, said: “The display will feature old, some very old pictures and up to date photographs of the same scene today. For those who know St Mawgan, live in the area, visit regularly or just have an interest in local history please do come. There are over 60 photographs featured in the exhibition so there is sure to be somewhere visitors will know.
“The Falcon Inn, the village pub is a popular subject many taken in the very early 20th century, also the old smithy which has completely altered.
“The team headed by Sarah McKelvey have worked tirelessly to put this together and had great fun doing it. The group would love to welcome those who have old pictures of the village themselves please bring them along.”
