RESIDENTS, community groups and local organisations are invited to attend Truro City Council’s Annual Town Meeting tomorrow [Thursday, March 19] at 7pm in the council chamber in the Municipal Buildings on Boscawen Street.

The event offers an opportunity for members of the public to learn more about the council’s work and engage directly with councillors. Copies of the council’s 2026-30 strategy will be available, setting out its key objectives and vision for the city over the next five years. Community group representatives are also expected to provide updates on current projects and initiatives.

Cllr Steven Webb (Lib Dem, Moresk and Trehaverne) said: “This is the one meeting of the year that the public are in charge and can grill the people running the city. Come and ask the question you've always wanted to ask about whatever interests or concerns you, rather than being restricted to what’s on the agenda.”
