BUSINESSES are being invited to attend a Boardmasters meeting to discuss how the festival impacts trading.

The Boardmasters to Businesses meeting will be staged at the Oceanside Hotel in Headland Road on Tuesday, March 10 between 5.30pm and 7pm.

It follows Newquay BID manager Mark Warren stating local traders reporting Boardmasters 2025 was their quietest week in August.

Businesses have previously reported losing thousands of pounds in trade while the surf and music festival was being held.

Mr Warren said: “This is a great opportunity to meet directly with the Boardmasters team, discuss plans for this year’s festival, share feedback, and raise any questions or queries businesses may have.

“Whether directly impacted by the event or simply want to understand more about what’s planned for 2026, we encourage people to come along and be part of the conversation.

“All businesses are welcome. We look forward to seeing everyone there.”
