A POPULAR choir is inviting any member of the public to join them at an open rehearsal.

Newquay Male Voice Coir is staging the event at in St Michael’s Church on Wednesday, February 18 between 6.30pm and 8.30pm.

Secretary Jim Christophers said: “Newquay Male Voice Choir sings for fun, for well-being and for charity.

“Come and join us for an evening and see and hear how this is achieved.

“If you already attend choir concerts, this will be a splendid opportunity to see the choir in operation as it prepares pieces to be included in its repertoire for the coming year.

“There will be no hard recruitment sell, although if you wish to do so, you can sit in with a section and experience life within the choir.

“So, if you are wondering whether male choral singing may be for you, this may be the place to start.”

Light refreshments will be available.
