POLICE are appealing for help to trace a man from the Newquay area who is wanted in connection with a report of assault and false imprisonment.

Ryan Walsh is described as white, 5ft 11ins tall, of medium build with short brown hair. He has a sleeve tattoo on his right arm.

A police spokesperson said: “We are appealing to the public for help to trace a 34-year-old wanted man from the Newquay area.

“Enquiries are ongoing to locate Walsh and officers are appealing to the public to report any sightings or information about his whereabouts.

“He has links to Newquay and the surrounding areas.”

Anyone who sees Walsh is asked to not approach him but to call to 999, quoting reference 50250319536.
