A BUSINESS in Newquay has delivered a £7,650 Christmas gift to a surf therapy organisation.
DYSUJO at the Crescent has donated the money to the Wave project, which takes young people into the sea to build confidence and overcome anxiety.
The company, which consists of Marwick Marketing, Wavelength Surf Magazine, UK Surf & Skate Expo, Longboarder Magazine, 10 Over Surf Shop and Cass : ette Agency, organised fundraising events throughout the year that included a proportion of the ticket sales from the inaugural UK Surf & Skate Expo, Wavelength Magazine's Surfers' BBQ and surf cinema nights.
DYSUJO CEO Chris Thomson said: “We wanted to give back to The Wave Project for all the incredible work they do year-round.
“Giving everyone access to the ocean is important, and we hope these funds help them continue to do what they do.”
