EMERGENCY services were scrambled after concerns were raised for the welfare of a woman on a cliff in Newquay.
Newquay RNLI Lifeboats, Devon & Cornwall Police, the ambulance service and Newquay Coastguard Search and Rescue Team were alerted to the incident in the Lusty Glaze area on Friday, February 27 at 11.45am.
The woman was taken into the care of the ambulance service.
A police spokesperson said: “We were called by the ambulance service following a report of a concern for welfare for a woman on a cliff in the Lusty Glaze area of Newquay.
“Thankfully the woman was quickly located and taken into the care of the ambulance service.”
A Coastguard spokesperson added: “The team were stood down en route as the incident had been resolved.”
