Cake, cuppas and crafts were the order of the day at the Truro Christian Aid Group coffee morning for Christian Aid Week 2025.

Sue and Barry Pettit raised raised £1,034.70 with help from volunteers from St George’s Church. The money will support of the work of the charity’s local partners, empowering vulnerable communities to find practical and sustainable ways out of poverty.

This year’s appeal focused on work in Guatemala, where climate change is causing water sources to dry up and vital crops to fail, plunging farming families into hunger and poverty.
