A CIDER attraction is inviting people to turn their homegrown apples into liquid gold.

Healeys Cornish Cyder Farm at Penhallow is making its traditional apple mill and press available for visitors to convert their apple harvest into apple juice or cyder between September 5 and November 2.

The farm’s easy-to-use equipment is available priced at £5 per 90-minute slot, with all proceeds going to the Healeys Charitable Trust Fund. People pressing their apples will be able to produce up to 18 litres of fresh apple juice in 30 minutes.

Pressing slots are available daily from 10am to 4pm.

A spokesperson for Healeys said: “Be sure to bring your own apples and containers to store the freshly pressed juice, as pressing apples are not sold on-site.

“The apple press is open to customers aged 16 or over, so whether you’re an apple juice-making enthusiast or trying your hand at pressing for the first time, this is the perfect activity to embrace the season’s bounty.
