A Tapas Trail has been launched in Penzance to provide visitors with a five-day celebration of food and drink, showcasing some of the town’s best-loved restaurants and producers.

From  September 17 to 21, locals and visitors alike are invited will be able to explore Penzance in a new way - through bite-sized dishes.

Organised by Penzance BID, the Tapas Trail brings together a diverse collection of independent restaurants, cafés, bars and shops, each offering their own unique “tapas” creation.

Participants can pick up a Tapas Trail card and embark on a flavour-filled journey through the town, sampling everything from traditional Cornish favourites to inventive global small plates.

Participating venues include The Alverne, The Cornish Hen, The Front Room, Pocket Full of Stones, Chapel House, Jubilee Pool, Whits and Bay, Redwing Gallery, Flatties, Zennor Wild, Loafs, Fraser’s Fish & Chips, Thai Moon, Pirates Rest, Archie Browns, Lavenders, Hellys Bistro, RideOn, and Boatshed.

With dishes served in miniature, visitors can enjoy a variety of flavours while discovering hidden gems across the town. The Tapas Trail coincides with the second Penzance Food Festival in Penlee Park, from September 19 to 21.
