St Austell Golf Club presented cheques totalling over £10,000 to representatives from this year’s chosen charities last Friday night. The RNLI received a cheque for £4,737, while St Dennis Cancer Research was given £2,333 raised at last year’s events. Captain Ross Facey chose Parkinson’s UK as his personal charity, and presented a cheque for £3,000 to Karen Safe (pictured).
