PUBLIC toilets at a Newquay beauty spot have closed temporarily due to the facilities being used “inappropriately”.
Newquay Town Council has to undertake “unforeseen maintenance” at the Little Fistral public conveniences following the issue.
A town council spokesperson said: “The public toilets at Little Fistral are temporarily closed due to unforeseen maintenance issues and continued inappropriate use of the facilities.
“This misuse is not only preventing the wider community from accessing them but is also resulting in additional costs to the public purse.
“We are working to resolve this as quickly as possible and apologise for any inconvenience caused.
“We will provide an update as soon as they are ready to reopen.
“We would like to thank people for their understanding.”
