ORGANISERS of Newquay Carnival are hoping there will be a procession of people keen to have an input on next year’s event.
The carnival committee is staging a public meeting, which will be held at the sandy Lodge Hotel on Monday, October 6 at 7pm.
A spokesperson said: “The carnival committee is excited to start planning for the 2026 community carnival and we’d love people to be part of it.
“At this first public meeting, we’ll share our vision for 2026, lessons learnt from the 2025 carnival, opportunities for the community to get involved and for people to have an input on our 2026 theme.
“This is all about creating a fun, inclusive event for Newquay, shaped by the people who live here. “Everyone is welcome. Whether they just want to hear what’s happening, give feedback, or get involved in the committee or planning the event. We want to make carnival 2026 the best one yet. Together.”
