TRENANCE Garden’s roster of awards is certainly growing.

The Cormac gardening team has picked up a 10th consecutive five star award for its entry in South West in Bloom Pride in Parks 2025, which demonstrates excellent standards of horticulture, community use and environmental care are being maintained.

The South West in Bloom judge, Nick Jones stated: “The park is a wonderful place to visit and is being well managed with sustainable planting and striking displays.”

Lesley Friel, the chairperson of Newquay in Bloom, presented the gardening team with the award, which consists of Stuart Lutherborrow, Teresa Buzza, Chris Wasly as well as Rex Cook who retired in February.

She said: “Residents will soon notice the new plaque has been added to the door of the gardeners’ hut.”
