THE police have taped off a bus shelter in Newquay after concerns were raised for the welfare of a man.
Police attended the bus shelter at Narrowcliff where they discovered the man was injured on Thursday, January 22 at 1am. The man was checked over by paramedics before being taken home by police officers.
The inside of the shelter, which has been covered in blood splattering, remains taped off.
A police spokesperson said: “This will be following a concern raised for a man at Narrowcliff shortly after 1am. The man was located with injuries. He was checked by paramedics there and taken home by officers.”
Buses are continuing to pick up and drop off passengers at the bus shelter despite the area still being taped off.
