POLICE are growing increasingly concerned for the welfare of a 16-year-old boy from near Stockport who was last spotted at Holywell Bay.
Joshua Miles was seen in Handforth on Thursday, May 22 and is believed to have travelled to Cornwall by train.
There is believed to have been a sighting of Joshua at a holiday park in Holywell Bay on Saturday, May 24 and he may have since travelled to Newquay.
It is believed Joshua was wearing black shorts and trainers, and a black hooded jacket at the time of his disappearance.
Duty Inspector Ash Sayer from Cheshire Police said: "We have been conducting enquiries to locate Joshua since he was reported missing, and we are becoming increasingly concerned for his welfare.
"We would urge anyone who thinks they may have seen Joshua since he went missing to get in touch with us.
"The same goes for anyone who has any information on his whereabouts or any CCTV, video doorbell or dashcam footage of him since he was last seen.”
Uncle Matthew Pond added: “We are desperate for any news and to get him home safe.”
