PUBLIC notices cover a range of applications, ranging from licensing applications for liqueur or entertainment to planning applications, roadworks and other works. Their intention is to inform communities of the latest plans in their area and such applications are considered for approval or refusal by local authorities. Here are some of the latest applications submitted to Cornwall Council.

Licence application

THE operators of Carnglaze Cavern have applied for a licence application in respect of the undertaking of licensable activities.

Antony Perkins and Lisa Perkins have given notice that they have applied to Cornwall Council as Licensing Authority for the grant of a Premises Licence in respect of Carnglaze Caverns, St Neot, Liskeard, Cornwall, PL14 6HQ.

The application is to bring current licensable activities, namely retail and supply of alcohol, entertainment and late-night refreshment in-line with the regular business opening hours of the venue, between 10am until 1am.

In addition, the inclusion of an extra building within the licensable area.

Pursuant to the Trustee Act 1925 any persons having a claim against or an interest in the Estate of the above named, late of Penruth Cottage Nanstallon Bodmin, PL30 5LA, who died on 12/06/2024, are required to send written particulars thereof to the undersigned on or before 18/11/2025, after which date the Estate will be distributed having regard only to the claims and interests of which they have had notice.

Road closure

Location: Ridgewood Close, St Austell

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in St Austell.

This prohibition is necessary for works to application of thin surface course and it is expected that the closure will be from October 20 to October 24, 2025.
