POLICE have charged a man in connection with the death of a woman in her 80s following an incident in the area of Ashton, near Helston.

Edward Holden, 36, of Alexandra Place in Penzance, has been charged with rape and murder and remanded to appear before Truro Magistrates’ Court today [Monday, June 1].
