THE newly launched West Cornwall Oddfellows Sunday Lunch Group has quickly become a must attend event, bringing together members of the Oddfellows Friendly Society and their guests for a delicious, heartwarming afternoon.

The latest gathering, held at Tricky’s Restaurant in Tolgus Mount, Redruth, was a resounding success, with over two dozen attendees enjoying a traditional Sunday roast, complete with all the trimmings, a range of desserts and plenty of lively conversation.

The event was more than just a meal, it was an opportunity to connect, unwind and start the festive season in good company. The group also took the chance to announce the latest prize competition, adding a little extra excitement to the gathering.

Guests were also treated to a sneak peek of the line up of events and activities planned for December, leading up to the holidays. With more lunch gatherings and community events on the horizon, the Oddfellows Sunday Lunch Group will continue to bring members and guests together across the District.

The next gathering, set for January 2026, promises another afternoon filled with welcoming hospitality, great food and good cheer.
