LOCAL historian, photograph collector and Voice reader Barrie Doney has no shortage of pictures and stories from Cornwall’s past, which he shares with Voice Newspaper readers every week. This week’s photograph takes us to a sight from the past in Mevagissey. Barrie says of this photograph: "Upalong in 1909, which is a favourite look out. Further up Cliff Street was the shute known as " Bucket & Chuck It”, which was the only solution to village sewage.” ( )
