Two Newquay beauty businesses have been pampered after winning accolades in a regional awards competition.
Ro Hair in Hope Yard proved it’s a cut above the rest after winning a five-star hair salon award at the 2nd English Beauty Industry Awards 2023 – South West Edition.
Sands Resort Hotel & Spa was highly commended in the spa team of the year category.
The awards have been announced following a large number of public submitted votes. The competition aims to celebrate the salons, spas and beauty professionals from the South West who continuously dedicate themselves to giving their customers the best possible experience.
A spokesperson for Creative Oceanic, which hosts the awards, said: “The professionals or stylists shortlisted for these awards continuously raise the bar through their creativity, dedication and their ability to stay on top of the latest trends.
"These awards are among several editions hosted by Creative Oceanic throughout the UK in celebration of the Beauty Industry with ceremonies regions such as Yorkshire, Scotland, Ireland and Midlands.”

Meanwhile, Truro’s Hendra Hair & Beauty was named five-star beauty salon (Cornwall) at the awards.
