THE iconic Newquay land train will be ferrying people around the town for the very last time on Friday, October 31.
The popular attraction, which was put up for sale in May 2024 by owner Mark Haddrell, has been sold to a new buyer in north Wales.
The road train, which was purchased from Dotty Trains in 2006, takes passengers on a five-mile open-air journey around Newquay and includes a commentary by the conductor about its popular landmarks.
Many people have taken to social media to express their sadness that the land train will be departing the town as it has become a familiar sight and left passengers with fond memories.
On its last day of service, the train will be offering up Halloween rides this Friday.
