A new care home is set to open its doors in Truro in early 2027. Landers Court, named after the city-born explorer Richard Lander, is currently under construction on Treyew Road and will provide residential and dementia care for up to 66 older people.
It will feature premium amenities such as an in-house salon, a Sky Bar, a cinema, and a vintage-style tea room, as well as 66 en-suite bedrooms with bespoke furniture.
A fixed weekly price will cover everything from 24‑hour care, freshly prepared meals and housekeeping to hairdressing, chiropody, days out and a packed calendar of activities
Em Dean, managing director for Crystal Care Collection in the South West, said: “Landers Court will be a person-centred home where residents can enjoy excellent support, their families can feel confident, and local people can see a genuine long-term investment in later-life care for the town.”
