“The repertoires of the choirs will span the whole range of the male voice choir songbook, and most have brought something of a party piece with them, ready to show off what they can do.

“Those choirs participating in Saturday’s competition also use the Friday concert to have a last dress rehearsal opportunity.

“Admission to the concert is £10 and tickets can be obtained in advance from the ‘Visit Truro website or by contacting the Visitor Information Centre, Boscawen Street, Truro. There will be some tickets available on the door.”

Oll an Gwella will be performing and hosting Minehead Male Voice Choir, Seer Green Singers from Buckinghamshire, Sussex Gruffs Male Voice Choir and Weybridge Mae Voice Choir at Healeys Cyder Farm on Saturday, May 2, from 1pm.
