Work to upgrade the gas pipes in the Morrab Gardens area of Penzance is set to start on Monday, May 18, with completion scheduled for mid-August.

The work has been planned in conjunction with Cornwall Council, with traffic management in place during the project. This includes:

· Motorists using give and take on the Rosevale Estate and Cornwall Terrace;

· Two-way traffic lights on Morrab Road (June 8 to 22);

· Road closures on Morrab Road and North Parade (June 22 to July 8);

· Road closure on Penlee Manor Drive (July 6 to August 17).

The project is part of Wales & West Utilities work to invest over £164,000 over the next 12 months to upgrade gas pipes across Penzance, with over 2,600m of gas pipes being upgraded across the area.
