FUNDRAISERS are limbering up to raise money for an animal assisted intervention charity near St Columb Major.
People are invited to bike ride, scooter or walk around a seven mile course of the Goss Moor Trail in aid of Chy Lowen Alpacas at Tregaswith on Saturday, September 13 at 2pm.
The charity provides a form of therapy to help young people who have special needs, mental health issues or are youth offenders.
Mary Harvey, who runs CHAT, said: “CHAT is a non-profit project dedicated to helping children and young adults with a variety of needs using animal assisted intervention.
“In order for CHAT to allow their students on site they pay a huge amount for insurance and do not charge for them to attend.
“To help to ease this financial pressure and ensure that students are able to continue at CHAT, we will be riding, scooting and walking our way around the Goss Moor trail.”
Anyone who would like to take part in the fundraiser or provide sponsorship can telephone Mary on 07886 529880.
