FIREFIGHTERS tackled an agricultural vehicle fire in the St Mawgan area on Saturday night, November 2.
Crews from Padstow and Newquay fire stations attended the blaze involving a telehandler at Engollan shortly before 6pm.
Residents heard explosions as the crews tackled the blaze. Firefighters used breathing apparatus and hose reel jets to extinguish the fire.
A spokesperson for Cornwall Fire and Rescue Service said: “Two appliances from Padstow and Newquay attended a call to a telehandler on fire.
“The vehicle was well alight on the arrival of the crews who used two breathing apparatus and two hose reels to extinguish the fire.”
