The scooter jam will be held between 1pm and 2pm, the BMX Jam from 2pm to 3pm and the skate jam between 3pm to 5pm

The Nansledan pumptrack opened in 2024 and was built by Maverick Skateparks on behalf of the Duchy of Cornwall, which is developing Nansledan as a sustainable extension to Newquay. Located behind Nansledan’s primary school, Skol Nansledan, off William Hosking Road, the track adjoins ‘Slynk’ which is Cornish for ‘slide’) and is one of a series of adventure playgrounds and play areas being built by the Duchy of Cornwall at Nansledan.

Sam Kirkness, Nansledan development manager at the Duchy of Cornwall, said: “Last year’s Skate Jam was a fantastic community event and showed just how much energy and talent there is across Nansledan, Newquay and beyond. We’re excited to welcome everyone back this year for an even bigger celebration.

“Whether you're coming along to ride, cheer or just enjoy the community spirit there will be something for everyone.

“Entry is free, and no registration is required. Just turn up and take part - or simply enjoy watching the show.”
