FANS of Kate Bush in Cornwall will have their first opportunity to experience Hounds of Love – The Kate Bush Celebration live on stage when the production arrives at The Keay Theatre in St Austell on Saturday, November 21.
Part of the production’s debut UK theatre tour, the performance marks a first for Hounds of Love as it brings its celebration of one of Britain’s most distinctive and influential musical artists to Cornwall for the first time.
With a live band of passionate musicians, theatrical presentation, authentic costumes and a stage set honouring Kate Bush’s legendary 1979 Tour of Life, Hounds of Love offers audiences much more than a concert of familiar songs. The production celebrates the creativity, drama and artistry that have made Kate Bush such an enduring figure in British music.
Audiences can expect to hear some of her most iconic tracks, including Wuthering Heights, Running Up That Hill, Cloudbusting, Babooshka, The Man with the Child in His Eyes, Hounds of Love and many more.
Inspired by Kate Bush’s legendary 1979 Tour of Life, the show brings together powerful live musicianship and theatrical elements to create an immersive evening celebrating her remarkable musical catalogue.
For Nadine Turner, who performs as part of the production, sharing Kate Bush’s music with audiences is a deeply personal experience.
She said: “Being able to step on stage and perform Kate Bush’s music is something I never take for granted. Her songs have been such a huge part of my life, and to share them with audiences who feel that same connection is incredibly special.
“Every night, we see people singing along, remembering moments from their own lives, and sharing stories about what Kate’s music means to them. That’s what makes this show so special. We’re really excited to bring Hounds of Love to Cornwall for the first time!”
