YOUNGSTERS can celebrate the end of summer with a variety of exciting workshops, entertainment and activities at Redruth’s first-ever Youth Fest on Saturday, August 30.

The free, action-packed day at East End Park celebrates young people. The event is led by Redruth Youth Council in collaboration with many local youth groups.

Between 12 noon to 6pm, visitors can enjoy a showcase of live music and entertainment including performing arts such as circus skills, stilt walking and more. An after party for older teenagers is also being planned.

On site will be local youth artists, civic career demonstrations (police, coastguard, fire service and more), food stalls, skateboarding/bmx, arts and crafts workshops, interactive zones, games, face painting, a quiet zone with activities to help visitors relax and have fun.
