POLICE are appealing for witnesses and footage after a fatal collision in Redruth earlier today (Thursday, October 22).

Officers were called at around 11.20am following a report that a delivery vehicle had collided with the front of a Furniture World shop at East End.

The driver of the vehicle, a man in his 50s, was pronounced deceased at the scene. His next of kin has been informed.

East End and Gew Terrace was closed in both directions while the emergency services attended the scene.
