A NEW family adventure is coming to Mount Edgcumbe Country House, near Torpoint, this Halloween.

Families are invited to step into a Halloween adventure at Mount Edgcumbe this October, as the Fantastical Halloween Experience arrives from October 30 to November 1.

Created by Miss Ivy Events, the three-day event will combine an interactive Halloween quest with live entertainment, creative activities, a makers and craft market, seasonal food and plenty of family-friendly spooky fun.

Children will become ghoul hunters and set off around the grounds to find four Halloween characters - the scarecrow, the clowns, the reaper and the witch. At each stop they’ll complete a challenge, solve a riddle and collect a sticker and treat before continuing their quest.

Every child admission also includes a Halloween Wizardry Workshop, with additional creative workshops available on the day, subject to availability.

The event has been designed to feel atmospheric and exciting without being genuinely frightening, making it ideal for families looking for a fun October half-term day out.

Jo Macaskie, founder of Miss Ivy Events said: “Following the success of our Fantastical Magic Festival at Dartington, we wanted to create another Fantastical adventure for children, this time at Halloween.

“Rather than just another market or a quick activity, there’s a whole story to follow, characters to meet, challenges to complete and lots happening around the event. We can’t wait to see families getting involved and experiencing it all at Mount Edgcumbe.”

Sessions for the The Fantastical Halloween Experience are running from 10am to 1pm and 1.30pm to 4.30pm each day.
