STRICTLY Come Dancing legends made a dazzling return to the stage at the Hall for Cornwall in Truro on Sunday night.

Brendan Cole, James Jordan, Pasha Kovalev, Vincent Simone, and Ian Waite reunited for their brand-new show Legends in Las Vegas - After Hours Tour.

The five dance legends and their dance partners brought the spirit of Sin City to life through breathtaking routines, colourful costumes and nonstop entertainment set to a soundtrack inspired by the greatest Las Vegas performers of all time.

If its dance that you are looking for then this show is just the ticket with its high-octane ballroom and Latin routines inspired by the bright neon lights, showgirls, parties, casinos and roulette. A highlight for me was Vincent Simone performing an Argentine Tango to Micheal Jackson’s Smooth Criminal.

Just like their previous shows Legends of the Dance Floor in 2024 and Return of the Legends last year, Legends in Las Vegas is not just about the dancing. It’s of course also about the camaraderie and behind-the-scenes banter about their time on Strictly.

While I thought some of the humour was a bit of on the saucy side the audience certainly lapped it up and there were hoots of laughter around me throughout the show. The tour is called After Hours after all.

The glitch of Las Vegas was replaced by the glitch when the immersive backdrops featuring the desert sunsets, lavish pool parties, whirlwind wedding chapels, and the towering facades of iconic hotels went on the blink. But the show must go on and like true professionals the legends carried on and it took nothing away from the overall performance. In fact, it could have even emphasised the brilliant footwork more by not having all the distractions in the background.

With nearly every seat in the house filled for the show it doesn’t look like the legends are going to fade away any time soon due to their enduring popularity. In fact the Strictly Legends have already announced a 2027 tour and they will be returning to the Hall for Cornwall to perform for their devoted Cornish fans.
