Emergency services were scrambled after a man fell off a cliff at North Fistral in Newquay on Wednesday.
Newquay Coastguard Service and Rescue Team assisted South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust during the incident shortly after 2pm.
Once the paramedics had stabilised the casualty the team stretchered him across the rocks onto Fistral Beach, where he was then transported to an ambulance in the car park and onto hospital.
A Coastguard spokesman said: “Many thanks to the Fistral complex staff for all their assistance.”
