STUDENTS from Camborne Science & International Academy (CSIA) have been creating unforgettable memories and forming lasting friendships during a cultural exchange in Thailand.

From learning traditional crafts with their exchange buddies to exploring iconic landmarks like Bangkok’s Grand Palace, every day has been packed with colour, culture, and new experiences.

The visit was hosted by Mahidol Wittayanusorn School, whose families welcomed CSIA students into their homes. Located on the Salaya Campus of Mahidol University in Nakhon Pathom Province, MWIT is Thailand’s first specialised science school.

This is the second trip to Thailand for CSIA students this year. In January, three young scientists from the school presented their research during a week-long International Students Science Fair hosted by MWIT.

Emma Haase, principal of CSIA, said: “Our students had an amazing time and we are hugely grateful to the host families at Mahidol Wittayanusorn School for their warm welcome.

“Opportunities like this allow our young people to broaden their horizons, embrace new cultures, and create shared memories they will treasure forever.”
