A CORNISH-WIDE self-catering specialist based in Watergate Bay is celebrating after winning prestigious awards.

Beach Retreats has scooped multiple marketing awards at The International Content Marketing Awards for its 2025 campaign, Your Beach. Found.

The business, which has a portfolio of holiday lets within metres of the sea, won both Best Content Campaign and Best Content Team alongside achieving Silver in the Grand-Prix for In-House Agency.

The International Content Marketing Awards are one of the largest and longest-running awards for the marketing industry, recognising the best in strategy, content creation, visual and audio storytelling.

The winners are decided by a panel of 170 brand leaders and top marketers from around the world. The awards were announced at Landing Forty Two in London on Thursday, January 22.

The campaign originated from the desire to highlight why choosing the right beach is so important, and for guests to make the most of their time on the Cornish shoreline. Audiences were invited to discover their perfect coastal match through an interactive “Beach Match” quiz designed to connect travellers with the beach that best suits their holiday style.

Beach Retreats partnered with hyper-local Cornish businesses, influencers, content and creative partners to deliver content that shows the individuality of each beach alongside highlighting nearby stays within Beach Retreat’s portfolio.

Each piece of content was unique, crafted to creatively showcase their extensive property selection to their beach loving tribe and build their connection to each location through personal narratives. The campaign generated a combined social reach of 5.7 million alongside driving bookings and proactively supporting Cornwall’s visitor economy.

Beach Retreats also recently won Best Small Company for UK Holiday Home Rentals at The British Travel Awards in December. The winning streak of awards cements Beach Retreats status as one of the best travel companies for short term holiday lets in the UK, for guest experience and satisfaction alongside their marketing and creative team.
