The Truro Classic Car Show will see Lemon Quay transformed for car lovers to enjoy on Sunday, July 30 from 10.30am until 3.30pm.

Hosted by Truro BID, the event will offer a rare opportunity to see a variety of cherished classic and vintage cars from the 1900s to 1990s, including Whistling Billy, The Racing ‘White’ Steam Car from 1905, and revered brands such as Rolls Royce, MG, Jaguar, Triumph, Mercedes, Bentley and Aston Martin.

Residents and visitors will also be invited to browse automobilia and autojumble stalls, and enjoy live music from The Velvets and True Foxes.

Sponsored by Coodes Solicitors and with fundraising for Macmillan Cancer Support, the show follows a smaller classic car display on Lower Lemon Street that took place during the Queen’s Jubilee Celebrations in June 2022.

Truro BID manager Alun Jones said: “The Truro Classic Car Show will be a great opportunity for car enthusiasts to see a wide variety of much-loved cars in the city centre, as well as helping to increase footfall into the city for the day to the benefit of many of our businesses.”
