A CHURCH in Newquay is appealing for donations after seeing an increasing number of people experiencing homelessness seeking support.
Newquay Methodist Centre in Pargolla Road is interested to receive new, unused toiletries and essentials.
Items needed include toothbrushes, toothpaste, sanitary products, sun cream and sun hats.
Newquay Methodist Centre is also looking at starting a new community book club and would like to hear whether people would prefer a silent reading club where everyone brings their own book, or a shared book club to discuss the same book.
Newquay Methodist is additionally looking for volunteers.
A spokesperson said: “We are interested to hear from anyone who could share a skill, play music, help with arts and crafts, support the Memory Café, creative groups, worship services, light admin, or general activities?”
